I just want to let you know that I have been discussing with Chris Roberts the possibility of merging C&NW with Coventry City & University to form one centre of excellence for hockey within the city, mergers of this type have proved very successful for other cities and towns, Rugby & Northampton being prime examples.
I must stress that nothing more than the intention to discuss has been agreed at this point and that no action will be taken or agreements made until all the club members have had the opportunity to to give their views and vote on any proposal that may come from these discussions.
I am obviously very interested in any comments you may have and the only thing I ask is that you keep an open mind until such time that we have some proposals to consider.
